Abu Huraira reported Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said,:
The Last Hour will not come before wealth
becomes abundant and overflowing, so much so that a man takes Zakat out of his
property and cannot find anyone to accept it from him and till the land of
Arabia reverts to meadows and rivers. (Book Sahih Muslim 157c)

الْعَجَمُ الْعَرَبَ " وَأَنْ تَرَى الْحُفَاةَ الْعُرَاةَ الْعَالَةَ
رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ يَتَطَاوَلُونَ فِي الْبِنَاءِ
When will the Hour be?' He said:
'The one who is being asked about it does not know more than the one who is
asking.' He asked: 'Then what are its signs?' he said: 'When the slave woman
gives birth to her mistress' (Wake' said: This means when non-Arabs will give
birth to Arabs") 'and when you see barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds
competing in constructing tall buildings.'……(abbreviated)
(Sunan Ibn Majah 63)
The
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said "When you start seeing the
barefoot, naked shepherds of camels competing in the construction of high-rise
buildings, then await the hour.
It's
about to commence." Isn't it remarkable to witness how these arid deserts
of these same Gulf states, which were down trodden and deep into poverty just
one century ago are now developing rather have developed two of the world's
three tallest skyscraper buildings as for the increase in brutality and killing?
This is natural and expected because when greed drives people to see others'
wealth as violable seeing their lives as such becomes the unfortunate, tragic
but expected next step. And low and behold our past century has seen atrocities
everywhere between modern warfare, between abusive policing between cycles of
genocide, between senseless killing at large domestically, and by individuals
we have seen more killing and more carnage and more breaching of the sanctity
of life than ever before. And it is all traceable to greed. As the experts say
just follow the money trails, follow the selfish interests. Everything would
become explainable.
عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم "
وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لاَ تَذْهَبُ الدُّنْيَا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ عَلَى
النَّاسِ يَوْمٌ لاَ يَدْرِي الْقَاتِلُ فِيمَ قَتَلَ وَلاَ الْمَقْتُولُ فِيمَ
قُتِلَ " . فَقِيلَ كَيْفَ يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ " الْهَرْجُ .
الْقَاتِلُ وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي النَّارِ
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
The world would not come to an
end until a day would come to the people on which the murderer would not know
as to why he has killed and the slain would not know as to why he has been
murdered. It would be said: Why would It happen? To which he replied: It would
be because of general massacre and bloodshed. would be in Fire,
(Sahih Muslim 2908b)
The
Prophet Muhammed(ﷺ) said,
I
swear by the one in whose hand is my soul. This world will not end until the
killer no longer knows why he killed nor the one who was killed knows why he
was being killed.
And
in another Hadith, the Prophet Muhammed(ﷺ) said:
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ
النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ
الْعِلْمُ، وَتَكْثُرَ الزَّلاَزِلُ، وَيَتَقَارَبَ الزَّمَانُ، وَتَظْهَرَ
الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ ـ وَهْوَ الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ ـ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ
فِيكُمُ الْمَالُ فَيَفِيضُ ".
Narrated Abu Huraira: Muhammed(ﷺ) said, "The Hour (Last Day) will not
be established until (religious) knowledge will be taken away (by the death of
religious learned men), earthquakes will be very frequent, time will pass
quickly, afflictions will appear, murders will increase and money will overflow
amongst you.
(Sahih al-Bukhari 1036)
