﷽   All the praise is for Allah who is the author of all existence and the most generous to his creation while he is also the all compelling, he is the only one worthy of our worship having no partners no associates no sons no daughters no one whom he must consult and no one or anything which has any comparison with him all the praise is for Allah who is the king of all who claim sovereignty the only one who has the right to legislate for his creatures he is the giver of life he is the cause of death while death has no effect upon him because he is the ever living the self subsisting the eternal and the only absolute all the praises for Allah who has power over all things and there is in reality no power and no strength no influence to cause benefit or detriment except through him it is he who created this complex world the scene and the unseen the evident and the speculative the earth and all that is on it and everything that is in it   is he who sent his messengers and...

What does Islam say about lying?

Today we write about the verses in the Qur'an about what are the signs of those who tell lies

مَّا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍۢ وَلَا لِـَٔابَآئِهِمْ ۚ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةًۭ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۚ إِن يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِبًۭا

They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. What a terrible claim that comes out of their mouths! They say nothing but lies.(Quran chapter:18 verse:5)

what a big statement has come out of their mouths what a dangerous statement how serious is the statement that has come out of their mouth they are indeed uttering falsehood may Allah protect us from falsehood then Allah speaks about the fact that it is a sickness lies is a sickness and it will continue to grow if it is not clipped and nipped in the bud if a person does not repent and leave the bad way and habit of lying and being false then Allah says it will continue and it will become a disease in the heart it will be impossible for a person not to lie at a certain stage and this Allah makes mention of in Quran.

but before we speak of that let me inform you that a person becomes enslaved by lies when someone utters a lie they become a slave of that lie and then they become shackled in the lie and they don't know whether to move right or left they are cornered and they've got to lie a million and one times in order to come out of that one life Subhan Allah and for this reason it is important that we free ourselves from lies because truthfulness is what will save you to be honest and to be truthful is what will save you in this world as well as in afterlife and is what will save myself as well Allah says in their hearts is a sickness and Allah  will increase for them that sickness if they don't turn back to Allah says for them will be a severe punishment because of their life may Allah protect us from life then Allah says that when a person lies a liar has certain qualities what are some of the qualities of a liar the first thing they always swear big oaths when they are telling you some small information I swear I’m telling you I can touch the Quran for you I can do this for you they will tell you I swear by Allah I swear by listen by that and yet they are lying to you may Allah protect us.

Who is truthful does not need to say that everyone will know this man is truthful if he tells you there is a fire there he's got to say you know what there's a fire on that side the world will listen and the world will already take it as an instruction may Allah protect us but when a man cries wolf every time the day there is a real wolf nobody will come to his assistance may Allah never make us from those who lie so a liar one of the signs is they sway by Allah and still they are lying listen to what Allah says

لَوْ كَانَ عَرَضًۭا قَرِيبًۭا وَسَفَرًۭا قَاصِدًۭا لَّٱتَّبَعُوكَ وَلَـٰكِنۢ بَعُدَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلشُّقَّةُ ۚ وَسَيَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَوِ ٱسْتَطَعْنَا لَخَرَجْنَا مَعَكُمْ يُهْلِكُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ

Had the gain been within reach and the journey shorter, they would have followed you, but the distance seemed too long for them. And they will swear by Allah, “Had we been able, we would have certainly joined you.” They are ruining themselves. And Allah knows that they are surely lying.(Quran chapter 9: verse:42)

Allah knows that they are liars may Allah not make us from those

Allah says in this chapter in Quran:

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا۟ قَوْمًا غَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مَّا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَا مِنْهُمْ وَيَحْلِفُونَ عَلَى ٱلْكَذِبِ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ

Have you not seen those ˹hypocrites˺ who ally themselves with a people with whom Allah is displeased? They are neither with you nor with them. And they swear to lies knowingly. (Quran chapter 58: verse:14)

When they are lying they will actually sway an oath knowing that they are lying may Allah protect us that is a big crime imagine to use the name of Allah in order to tell a lie if a person really wanted to tell a lie which is very bad even without using the name of the creator  the minimum is they shouldn't use the name of Allah.

Allah says that lies is a form of hypocrisy and if a person does not repent and leave lies it will become hypocrisy that will be continuous in all other deeds why is lies hypocrisy because the interpretation of hypocrisy in Islam is to show apparently that which is not inside so that's a lie the person's entire existence would be a lie that's a hypocrite so Allah that because a certain group of people had lied Allah says we wrote against their names and in their hearts hypocrisy until Resurrection and we will not guide them.

Business as a Muslim

  ﷽ There are occasions Mashallah that if you're honest if you're truthful you will have a better clientage in the long run it will benefit you in business it will give you more profit but I do agree with you that by corruption by cheating many people make a lot of profit but for a Muslim Allah says in the Quran: ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًۭا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ He is the One˺ Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving.     بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ   Hadith No: 146 Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira ( Hadith No. 85 Vol 1). Sahih Bukhari. Drugs, gambling and alcohol are forbidden in Islam

  ﷽ According to the World Health Organization, how many people are killed by just smoking cigarettes, so if you are taking drugs, it is equivalent to suicide. Doctors have researched that drug addicts are more likely to commit suicide.
